Aspire Schools recognises that for children who are facing challenges in succeeding in mainstream schools, early intervention is key.  In order to offer mainstream primary schools much needed support, we have developed a unique and brand new KS2 provision at Shortenills Forest: ‘Finding my Voice’, that we launched in April 2025.

Finding My Voice (FMV) is a part-time intervention designed to change lives.

FMV is rooted in the principles of nurture and forest school and is a 1-day per week intervention for children in KS2 (Years 3, 4, 5 & 6) to run alongside a mainstream offer.  The intervention will take place outdoors no matter the weather. Pupils will experience the beauty of the outdoors and unleash their true potential.
