Aspire Alternative Provision

Careers Information and Guidance

Our Careers Vision and Purpose

We believe that equitable access to high quality careers, enterprise and learning opportunities are a priority for all of our students, and our careers strategy sits at the heart of this, contributing to our development plan 2024-2027 that underpins the focus that ‘Belonging is our social identity’.

We see access to high quality careers provision for excluded learners as an issue of social justice, with the evidence showing us that those young people who would benefit from effective careers guidance opportunities the most, are often the least likely to be able to access them. We therefore place a great deal of emphasis on our students’ right to high quality careers education and we are committed to delivering ambitious, transformational careers learning opportunities that measurably improve sustained destinations and reduce NEET risk.

Independent and Impartial Careers Guidance

Independent Careers Guidance

We invite and work with independent advisors that support our students and give them impartial careers guidance.  Please refer to the careers programme for further information.

Impartial Careers Guidance

We are supported by a DWP School Advisors who works with all students across Aspire Schools.  Students develop their skills and build confidence to allow them to make independent choices around their career pathways.
