Aspire is exploring the possibility of converting to Academy status and form a Multi – Academy Trust (MAT).

As the debate on growth of academies in England continues, the Governors have decided to look more closely into whether an academy model would be in the best interests of the children, teachers and staff at Aspire. Governors would now like to consult more broadly with parents and carers as to the best way forward for the school.

We are therefore offering parents and carers the opportunity to attend a consultation meeting on Wednesday 6th July during the open afternoon where representatives of the Management Committee and Senior Leadership Team will be on hand to discuss academy status with attendees.

The open afternoon runs from 1:30 – 2:30pm and 4pm – 6pm on all sites. This is an informal opportunity for all parents and carers to ask any questions they might have. We have included some background information with this letter along with a feedback form which we request that you complete and return to us.

We want and value your feedback and would urge you to attend this consultation meeting.
